Al Murraqabat SPS dealt with almost 27,000 transactions and received 560,000 customer in one year
Dubai-- Al Murraqabat Police Station in Dubai has recently celebrated its first anniversary of transformation from a traditional police station into a Smart Police Station (SPS)that provides service to the customers round the clock without human interference.
During its first year, Al Murraqabat SPS successfully processed more than 27,000 transactions and received 560,000 customers.
Brigadier Ali Ghanem, Director of Al Muraqqabat Police Station, said it has been a year since His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended the transformation of the traditional police station into an SPS- a moment that Dubai Police shall always be proud of.
“Dubai Police aims at reducing the number of customers who need to visit government service centres. Thus, it seeks to transform all its stations into smart police stations that can provide services round the clock without human intervention, “Brig. Ghanem added.
Brig. Ghanem reaffirmed the force’s keenness to fulfil the UAE’s leaders’ directives that aim to strengthen the country ’s position globally through innovative initiatives like the SPS that symbolises the future of policing.
