Dubai Police organises “Travel Safely” workshop
Dubai- Dubai Police has recently organized a remote workshop entitled "Travel Safely " with the aim of educating Dubai Police employees about the travel culture in light of the Coronavirus pandemic, and providing them with information on the precautionary measures that must be followed and taken into account during their travels.
Organised by the Department of Travel and Treatment Affairs at the General Department of Administrative Affairs of Dubai Police, the workshop covered a number of topics including the precautionary measures that must be followed before travel, whether at airports or on the plane, during departure from or arriving to the country, the importance of social distancing, and all matters related to travel reservations, destinations, hotels and airlines, as well as the services provided by the Department during these unprecedented times.
Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Muhammad Al-Janahi, Director of Travel and Treatment Affairs, delivered the workshop with the participation of Emirates Airlines and Dnata representatives. He stressed that the workshop is in line with Dubai Police General Command’s keenness to provide Dubai Police personnel with the latest and accurate information from official sources, and to connect them effectively with the respected airlines and travel agencies.
