Dubai Police will orgnize the 3rd K9 International Summit

The General Department of Protective Security and Emergency will organize on16th of August, 2020 the third K9 International Summit.

The forum will discuss best practices and most modern training techniques and methods that contribute to improving the competence of trainers and K9 dogs

Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, Director of the General Department of Protective Security and Emergency at Dubai Police, pointed out the 3rd forum will be held remotely in accordance with the instructions and guidelines issued by UAE official authorities.

"The Scientific research is one of the requirements that are considered essential nowadays because its importance and impact in all areas, including the scientific and security fields. Therefore, this year's forum has been devoted to scientific areas in the field of K9 dogs", Al Ghaithi said.

"The forum aims to share local and international knowledge and experiences, and benefit from scientific research that facilitates and serves work process", he added.

For his part, Major Salah Khalifa Al Mazrouei, director of Dubai Police Security Inspection K9 Unit, said the forum contributes to exchanging theoretical and practical knowledge and getting acquainted with the local and international experiences in the field of police dogs in order to set a futuristic vision to develop and qualify trainers.
